Venkatesh

Daggubati Venkatesh (born 13 December, 1960), is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu cinema and has also appeared in Hindi films. He is the son of film producer D. Ramanaidu.

He made his debut as a lead actor in K. Raghavendra Rao's *Kaliyuga Pandavulu* (1986), winning the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut. His filmography includes *Swarna Kamalam* (1988), *Bobbili Raja* (1990), *Kshana Kshanam* (1991), *Chanti* (1992), *Anari* (1993), *Preminchukundam Raa* (1997), *Suryavamsam* (1998), *Raja* (1999), *Kalisundam Raa* (2000), *Jayam Manadera* (2000), *Nuvvu Naaku Nachav* (2001), *Malliswari* (2004), *Sankranthi* (2005), *Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule* (2007), *Drushyam* (2014), *F2: Fun and Frustration* (2019), *Narappa* (2021), *Drushyam 2* (2021), the crime series *Rana Naidu* (2023), and *Sankranthiki Vasthunam* (2025).

He has won five Nandi Awards for Best Actor for *Swarna Kamalam*, *Dharma Chakram*, *Preminchukundam Raa*, *Ganesh*, and *Kalisundam Raa*, along with two Nandi Special Jury Awards and six Filmfare Awards South.
