Julie Ann Brown is an American actress, comedian, singer-songwriter, screenwriter and director best known for her iconic 1980s "valley girl" persona and sharp celebrity parodies.

She carved out a unique space in pop culture by blending pop music with subversive sketch comedy and achieved massive cult success with novelty hits like "Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun" (a dark parody of mid-century teenage tragedy songs) and "'Cause I'm a Blond".
