Rakul Preet Singh

Rakul Preet Singh is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada cinema. She made her acting debut in the Kannada film *Gilli* (2009), followed by her Telugu debut in *Keratam* (2011) and Tamil debut in *Thadaiyara Thaakka* (2012). Her breakthrough in Telugu cinema came with Merlapaka Gandhi's *Venkatadri Express* (2013), for which she received a Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu nomination. She made her Hindi starring debut in Divya Khosla Kumar's *Yaariyan* (2014).
